(Disneyland, 1973-75) This is a reproduction of a very rare sign from the entrance to the "Main Street Opera House" at Disneyland that was used to advertise the new attraction, "The Walt Disney Story". The show replaced the "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" attraction in 1973, but guests complained that removing Lincoln was actually an insult to Walt's hero, as well as Walt's vision for the park. After just two short years, the attraction was updated to "The Walt Disney Story Featuring Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln". This reproduction sign is constructed of heavy-duty steel with a PVC core.  It can be used indoors or outdoors for display. The large sign is 38"x24".  This is a brand new sign never park used or displayed anywhere.  As a reference, there has only been one original for sale ever since we know of. It sold on August 26, 2018, at Von Eaton Galleries auction for $4235.00 . This  professional made reproduction may be your on chance to own one at a fraction of the price.
